Stocks across Asia are rising today for Australian binary options traders. Global stock markets continue to be on their impressive bull runs with gains seen across the board. Japanese Stocks Continue Higher For Australian Binary Options Traders
Japanese stocks have been on a tear as the country’s fundamentals begin to improve and the country’s currency continues to weaken. As I pointed out in yesterday’s economic data calendar, Japan’s GDP report was critical for today. The country’s GDP was revised higher for the 4th quarter and showed growth and not a contraction.
Shares in Japanese exporters have been rallying on the back of the weakening yen. Most analysts are expecting the yen to continue to weaken against its major trading peers. For Australian binary options traders looking to trade individual Japanese stocks, shares in Honda, Toyota and Komatsu can continue to rally in this market.
Australian Binary Options Traders With Calls On Dow Make Money
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a new record for the 3rd consecutive day. Initial jobless claims came in at a 6 week low. Markets are now turning their attention to the release of the Labor Department’s Monthly NonFarm Payroll Report. This week’s ADP report and initial jobless claims showed a strengthening labor market for the US economy.
Euro Strengthens While Yen Weakens For Australian Binary Options
The euro strengthened against its major trading peers are ECB President Mario Draghi reiterated his view that the euro zone economy will recover later this year. His optimism in the euro brought buyers back into the currency and made shorts cover. The thinking is that if he’s optimistic about the euro, traders should be too. The ECB forecasts the euro to average $1.35 this year and next in currency trading.
Australian Binary Options On Aussie Dollar Weaken
The Aussie dollar is trading weaker this Friday against its major peers after China reported that imports rose less than expected. China is Australia’s number 1 export market and if China is importing less, that hurts the Australian export-based economy. Traders are now assessing why Chinese imports were so weak last month. Markets will now await the US labor report later today and China industrial production numbers due over the weekend.
WTI Rebounds For Australian Binary Options Traders
US crude oil rebounded on an improving US labor market. A stronger labor market in the US is bullish for demand and prices. A positive employment report later today can boost prices further. Brent crude oil weakened slightly as a pipeline in the North Sea was reopened after being closed for a leak. WTI is trading at $91.31 and Brent at $110.04. Trendline support for WTI is seen at $89.66.
